The advent of systems engineering meant the application of the systems approach to the field of logistics, resulting in the philosophy known as integrated logistics support. This book explains the concept and origin of the discipline of integrated logistics support and addresses its elements, explaining the meaning and role of each one, as well as their inter-relationships. In addition to the logistics support elements, two essential disciplines (reliability and ergonomics) are covered.
