Champions League fix scandal claims as Roma sell tickets BEFORE being drawn against Liverpool in semi-final
Italian club accidentally offered supporters the chance to buy tickets against Jurgen Klopp's team for the clash on May 2
SUSPICIOUS fans fear the Champions League draw was fixed as Roma advertised tickets BEFORE Liverpool were announced as their opponents.
The website error was quickly taken down, but not before eagle-eyed viewers grabbed a screenshot of the tie supposedly taking place on May 2.
They then drew the Reds in the draw in Nyon on Friday afternoon.
Liverpool are, in fact, due to face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on May 2.
Conspiracy theories are storming social media with fans fearing some sort of corruption.
One fan wrote: "Never seen something so rigged in my life, Roma selling tickets at 10am this morning against Liverpool away for season ticket holders."
Another said: "If this is true, it's a sad day for football, Roma's website selling tickets for the Champions League semi-final a day before the draw is made. Time will tell."

A Uefa spokesperson said: "The Italian club contacted Uefa to say they had a technical problem on their ticketing portal partner when they were making ticketing tests."
Back-to-back winners Real Madrid will play German giants Bayern Munich in the other semi-final.

Just last year Spanish publication AS suggested that Uefa had used a heated ball to avoid an all-Spanish final.
And in 2016 questions were asked over Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos when he was tasked with picking out teams assigned in pot four of the Champions League group stages.
He was seen by television cameras picking up a ball, holding it for a few seconds before putting it back in and grabbing another.
Uefa hit back at speculation that the draw was fixed when Giorgio Marchetti said last year: "How can the balls be hot or cold?
"It's impossible. With the category of player that we invite to the draw, I would never ask someone to do something that was not honest when picking the balls. It’s a joke.”
Liverpool avoided holders Real Madrid and German giants Bayern Munich in drawing Roma.
But Kop boss Klopp said: "Because I knew I’d have to say something after it, I tried to think about what I feel, but it was not that I thought ‘thank God not Bayern, thank God not Real Madrid, yippee Roma’ or the other way around.
"It is just the draw and I know it is very exciting, but it is good because the most important news is we are still in the competition.
"Whichever opponent we would have got, I would have said there is a chance because it is football – so there is a chance against Roma."
