R3 has same display problem, on bottom right the display will stop working after the update and no solution whatsoever can fully resolve it.
Sharp/Aquos has a history of making worst display

What's up with newer AQUOS phones like R3 and R5? The 304SH was one of my favorite phones; I used it daily for years with no touch panel issues.

I have an old trick that still works like a charm when the screen is having a dead touch.
first , find some lighter that use piezo ignition. rips it apart and then take the piezo igniter (you can google it if you don't know how does it looks) secondly , "electrocute" the screen area that got dead touch on it. If it doesn't work on first try , try experimenting it 2-3 times. lastly , reboot the device and pray and also beg for mercy (optional)
