In order to differentiate the A55 from the A35, the A55 could be getting better specs (probably 4K@60fps and/or 1080p@240fps). Since the A7x series has been discontinued, technology from the S FE can trickle STRAIGHT to the A55! Take a look at the FE specs and note the aluminum frame.

    This is an exciting time for the upcoming A55 and its future A5x siblings. Imagine one day, the A59 may be getting gyro-eis selfie camera, wireless charging or reverse charging.

                          The only real flaw with this phone is the chipset; Exynos isn't that reputable. Plus, you can get a Galaxy s21 for like 250 with better cameras and a snapdragon 888.

                            That "Key Island" doesn't look very good. Should've kept it flat all around.

                              Once again should be a perfect phone with all neccesary accesories in box but Samsng aart increased price dont give a crap.
                              Nowdays A55 price will be equal to S6 edge plus or S7.
                              Crazy world.
                              Remember good old times when A5 2017 had 300 eur price tag came with charger, cable, screen protector and a nice pair of samsung earplugs.
                              Now they cost twice as much and nothing in box.

                                        4GB ram is garbage in a 500 eur device with Samsung bloatware.
                                        But like many times before jsut new CPU, GPU and another 100 to price.
                                        Same design same average specs very stupid price.
                                        Rather would buy Edge 40 Neo for example.
