Motorola PEBL U6 & RAZR V3i review: Fashionable duo

08 June 2006
The RAZR successor the Motorola V3i strives for continuing the legend its predecessor set the beginning of. Motorola has also another highly stylish clamshell, PEBL U6, which has a lot in common with the RAZR models and attracts attention equally well.

The thing i hate in this handset is the lag that ocassionally happens, its an unforgivable 5-7 seconds lag that randomly happens during texting or navigating. It looks like more of a crash than a lag. :(

Are you sure you can listen to music wirelessly on the v3i. I don't think it offers A2DP stereo bluetooth.

the user interface does suck, both in the way it is ordered and on the graphical front, but the phone itself offers a very high level of customization unprecedented in any of the mobile phones i've ever used, and i've used practically every brand from samsung to nokia to SE to other unknown brands. i love this phone. it's something i can make truly "mine".=) if you know how, you can totally and completely re-order the entire menu into something more intuitive, and even change how everything looks. COMPLETELY. couple that with upgradable firmware, and you have a mobile that can keep up with whatever you throw at it.

and i don't get why most people don't like iTap. i honestly find it very intuitive and easy-to-use.:-O

my only complaint: good god the camera SUCKS. and what's up with that iTunes limit?? cmon apple!!

Hi, just bought the moto razr V3i. Overall impression........7.5 out of 10. Looks-feels-sounds---------COOL !. But on the messaging front it gets 6 out of 10. Very non-intutive. Otherwise a trendy and chic mobile. Fits very well in the pocket too.......!

just bought this phone a few days ago... basically, it's a very nice looking phone and also i find no problem using the keypad at all... at first i thought i'm gonna have a hard time pressing the keypad but no, it works just fine. The feel of the phone is good, feels solid. But I have only 2 complains so far, the back cover of the battery doesn't fit in fine. one side will pop out and there's no way i can fit the back cover nicely back in. i check with other user and it's the same. i also find that the LCD screen have a very limited viewing angle. If you tilt the phone more to the left or right side, then you will have problem viewing the screen.

Else, the speaker is kinda loud, stereo headset gives out a pretty decent sound quality and if you used a motorola phone before, there's not much change in terms of user interface.

Not a bad phone... overall will give it 7 out of 10.
