DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!
One of the worst purchases ive ever made. On battery saver Alarm wont work and you have to deal with the consequences. Recorder apop launches for no reason every now and then. Do not disturb does not work in gaming, have to disable it and enable game dock options. Front camera is terrible. RAM management is real bad, you can have 3 apps loaded most likely when switching, phkne will have to reload them sometimes. Have to restart phone for Banking app Nequi to work 90% of the times. When on battery save camara performance is trash. I dont get Gmail notifications despite them being fully activated. Brighness minimum cap + Extra Dim not enough sometimes. Youtube will get a glitch sometimes and you have to restart it. Getting a hold of the whatsapp and other playback sliders is a problem. This phone is trash!

Just bought from CEX Grade A £185. Bargain, great phone, unbeatable at this price 2 OS or no!

I do NOT recommend buying a mobile immediately after release (maybe only Sam or iPho) if you do not want to become a beta tester... after 1-2 updates problems are solved

This phone esim has very poor internate signal while other esim compatible phone working with good internate speed same place and same network. I'm using this phone world wide with diffrent esim esim every where is same problem. Google pixel and iPhone has good signal strength with esim.

Curved edge screen, gimmicky ip68 rating that doesn't protect in real life scenarios, no headphone jack, no sd card, no snapdragon processor, poor software support longevity, single nano sim slot, not even 4.5k mAh battery... With such many cons, this phone is just an expensive toy for a kid at best, not suitable for work nor as a daily driver. Do better rotomola

Never again. I bought this model in 2023 and it died in under 6 months. Water damage. Never submerged, only touched by rain. It's rated as IP68 but mine couldn't handle rain. Even when going to Motorola for support they said there was too much water damage. Somehow the case had split open, which would allow water in. It looks like the new models just don't stack up to their specifications.

1) How did you manage to take photos at 24mm, 35mm and 50mm with the main camera (50Mpixels) F1.4, if there is no optical zoom in this camera?
2) How do you compare Edge 40 camera set to the one from Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. Is the S23 FE zoom similar in quality to the digital one from Edge 40?

* it should not switch off at 1% of battery. My mobile was getting switch off 6%.
* it should not drain 1% for every 5 seconds for less than 20% of battery during idle time.
* it should not drain nearly 20% for 8 hours idle time (without use). It can drain upto 5 to 10% max.
If you encounter these issues, send mobile to motorola service center. Tell them that mobile should be on at 1% of charge. If they blindly return you back, then resend it again.

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2023Is this your first phone? at night signal consumming more b... moreThis is not the solution, changing Network to 3G for every day at night. For moderate use, need to recharge twice a day as mentioned by others. This might be chipset issue.
