Our Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra vs Galaxy S24+ comparison video is out

If you’re in the market for a flagship Android phone then the Galaxy S24 Ultra and S24+ have surely come across your radar. Our latest YouTube video goes over all of the key comparisons between the two devices to help you pick the one that’s right for you.

As the more expensive device, S24 Ultra gets a titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Armor on the front and back. The S24+ is the more compact phone and still features a premium-feeling aluminum frame. The Plus is also noticeably lighter at 196 grams compared to the Ultra's 232 grams.

Both phones come with great 1440p LTPO AMOLED 2X screens that refresh at up to 120Hz and offer 2,600 nits peak brightness. One area where the Ultra holds the upper hand is the added stylus support via the S Pen which opens up a whole new layer of productivity.

The software side is identical as both phones boot Samsung One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 with Galaxy AI and both phones come with 7 years of software support.

Galaxy S24 Ultra is sold exclusively with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in all markets while the S24+ comes with Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 in certain markets like Europe and India and the SD 8 Gen 3 in others. We tested the Exynos version of the S24+ which produced slightly lower benchmark scores in our testing compared to the S24 Ultra.

While both phones boast similar battery capacities, the S24 Ultra outlasted the S24+ in all key categories during our tests and rightfully earned a higher Active use score.

The S24 Ultra features the more capable camera setup out of the two with a 200MP main shooter, two telephoto lenses, and an ultrawide module that together cover a 0.5x to 5x optical zoom range.
