Poco X6 Pro is the only one with checking out, if not buying right away.

A35 and A55 gets bullied by Poco X6 Pro. Software and cameras is a toss up so it's up to you. S23 Ultra can be found used on some markets for as cheap as 700 pounds, I'm sure.

Honor 90 Lite and that Honor Pad is questionable. Would do digging before making a consensus. Spend the extra 60 pounds to get X6 Pro. Huge performance difference with double the storage. Asus is shunned from phone recommendations after what they did with Zenfone 11 Ultra.

    Free buds and deal???
    Funny.
In past even something as cheap as Samsung J3 series had earphones, charger and screen protector in box with phone even a case.
Last good phone with all theses were S10.
    Since then samsung gives nothing.
Now they add a item which sghould be free in a box and call it a deal.
    Sad very sad.

Samsung has changed its marketing strategy, it was bad but now it has worsened more. Samsung is not giving buds offer in Asian countries. Moreover A55 and A35 are priced on much higher side.

Sam N8 808 owner, 29 Apr 2024Hmm.. Google doing that could be an idea... Although, Googl... moreI mean, it's possible though, considering Fairphone and Amazon (with their Fire Tablet) also did the same.
Yeah, you're right though. I start to think why Asus and Sony don't do something like this.

MindTheGap, 29 Apr 2024Or, maybe it's better for Google for releasing a major... moreHmm.. Google doing that could be an idea... Although, Google is at no shortage of resources so its not quite needed.

But, I was referring to other manufacturers as it is. For example, as the article smrinks on Asus, can Asus update the Zenfone 10 twice, once at Android 16 and next at Android 18, and totally skip 15 & 17?
Later on, can Sony do that?
Benefit is, with same amount of company efforts, the device remains relevant for longer...
I mean, does Google allow this technically? I don't suppose Google should have a problem with it?

Sam N8 808 owner, 28 Apr 2024Guys tell me one thing: if a company promises 2 software up... moreOr, maybe it's better for Google for releasing a major OS update every 2 years instead of every year. So they can bring more feature on every OS update instead of what we got rn.
If they want, they can just add some "minor feature updates" every year, and call the new OS version "Android 14.1" or smth. So it's not the entire different OS.

Sam N8 808 owner, 28 Apr 2024Guys tell me one thing: if a company promises 2 software up... moreWhy do you worry too much about this? Iphone had the most highly acclaimed software support yet they experienced two attacks these past weeks. 😭

Guys tell me one thing: if a company promises 2 software updates, what kind of pattern would you love, out of the following:- A12 being stock version at launch, for example:-

                1. A13 being updated an year later, and A14 being 2 years later after launch.

                or would you rather like:-

                2. A14 being updated 2 years later, and then jumping to A16 4 years after launch. Thus, skipping one Android update entirely, but being latest in the end. (+Security upates uptill 4 years from launch)

Would you like a company skipping one version entirely to go to latest, in less efforts? (if security is taken care of anyways)

Id rather they give a charger, temper glass preinstalled and protective case in the box than some buds
