Do not buy this phone, as many issue arise in less than a year of using.
Air Trigger - first one to malfunction then no longer usable
Sim Card - always not installed issue (Motherboard issue)

Rog Phone 5S user here for almost a year now for those who want to buy this phone, heed my warning. Avoid fast charging at all cost as it will kill the phone. Mine died out of nowhere when i started using fast charging. I dont know if its a battery issues or motherboard but i see a lot of comments here saying they are having motherboard issues. I have the same issue i had with my ROG Phone 3. I was browsing and the phone just shut off and didnt turn back on. But yeah i would avoid ROG Phones if i were you

True story. Bought the phone (5s pro 888+ chipset) in 01/21. Fast forward 08/23, both air triggers are good as dead. Thought by replacing the air triggers components, should do the trick, was told by store, the motherboard is slowly dying. This will be the beginning of many more problems to come in due course. Reason by store? Overheating that caused damage to motherboard. From? Playing intensive/demanding games downloaded from playstore (games meant to be played on a smartphone) . On? A so called GAMING smartphone that apparently cant handle gaming. The IRONY. My Huawei Mate 20x (2018) handles gaming better eventhough external controllers are needed (to compensate for the air triggers) and running at 60fps. And cost half of what this "gamers" phone pricetag. And yes. 5yrs of abuse, its still well and alive.

i dont know about yall, i think this device is kinda sucks and awesome at the same time. well, the heat problem is still tolerable (a bit), rgb looks cool at some point but still useless, camera is between worse n superb i guessed, charging also heating up the phone and it weight a lot, playing games kinda mehh since its a phone.. as for now, its still alive, still annoying yet aesthetic.. ahh shitt, this phone gave me mixed feeling. idk if i like it or i hate it.. and yeah, got it on a lucky draw. so its not my choice to owned it. still usable..

I had some hopes for upgrade of my LG V60 to ROG 5s. 1st thing I tested sound output wired and bluetooth. I was hocked how poor EQ is compared to LG. LG V60 EQ we can adjust from 32Hz and it really does the job. ROG 5s EQ - from 60Hz. Of course there is Bass slider, but both of them (60Hz and so called "bass") are making so uncomfortable artificial sound! Will return ROG 5s. Sorry LG V60, hope you will live a long life.

Hi does asus rog rog phone 5s have any issues because few weeks ago I got asus rog phone 5s from foreign country in my country asus phones are not launched yet in feature if I get some issues with this phone then I'll be get in big trouble that's why I'm get worried

Anyone care to share if asus rog phone 5 ultimate or 5s pro are using the same motherboard? I was doing a bit or research, seems to affect 5 & 5s only. Dont see any complains from those who own the ultimate or 5s pro variant.
