Password forgotten and difficult to unlock the password, please any idea on how to reset it since my local technicians don't know the model making it difficult for them to unclok it as I have tried several of them. Kindly help me out here, any idea?

i have this tablet in 2020 and it still works good but i dropoed it many times and all the buttons are broken volume up down and power so when i want to turn it on i plug it on charger

It is usually shipped for free, but this takes about 6 weeks to be delivered. Make sure you know which type you require. Open up the tablet so you can see the part number and what the connecting parts look like (there are two types- one has a single connection and the other has two tabs that connect to the motherboard). You will need some tools and slim, double sided tape, which can be found on Amazon. Go to YouTube to watch various videos to help you with this. It's not hard to do this, just a bit fiddly and somewhat frustrating getting the old screen separated (I used my hair dryer to loosen the tape). I hope this helps.

I didn't use this ME172V for a fe... morehello brother i had the same problem with u but i solved it using the following web site http://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeePAD/ME172V/cleardata.zip it will give u a software to help u restore ur tab to factory . please follow it's steps carefully.

I entered all passwords I have used and it will not accept any of them. How do I reset this device back to a factory settings/default? And is there anyway to save what apps I have and any information on settings, photos act...or am I facing a Factory Setting Restore? Either way I need to use my ASUS Memo Pad ME172V. Only a 64-bit CPU is worth updating to Lolipop and beyond. And with Asus tablet, it's best that you bought an Intel cpu tablet because Asus has the best support for Intel CPUs

i purchased adapter with microusb at 1 end which plugs into the table and the other end will have a socket you plug the usb cable into also i have found a lot of stuff about this tablet like you can print wireless to most printers but for some you can use the USB as the tablet will can downloaded drivers to it
