Manute Bol's 6'11" Teenager Already Has a Super Smooth Game

No one that gangly should be that smooth

When you’re 6’11” at age 15, chances are pretty good that you’re going to stand out. Those chances increase exponentially when you can also play basketball like this:

That’s Bol Bol, the son of the late, great Manute Bol, a 7’7” former NBA player. See if you can find him in the photo below:

With those genes, it’s no wonder Bol Bol can play a little bit. On paper, Bol should be in his awkward phase, all ungainly knees and elbows. Instead, the 5-star recruit with a badass double name is all handles and dimes, which is even more impressive given that you’d expect him to be more of the blocks and rebounds kind of guy (but he’s pretty good at that stuff, too). And all of this is before you really step back and think to yourself: Wait, he’s 15 and his dad was 7’7”… and you realize that this 6’11” teenager likely hasn’t hit his growth spurt yet.
