4 The Scream Four versions: 1. Crayon 1893 2. Tempera 1893 (stolen and recovered in 1994) 3. Pastel 1895 (sold for $120 million) in 2012 4. Tempera 1910 (stolen in 2004. Found in 2006) Several lithographs as well. Original works of art can be printed and reproduced.

6 Style & Meaning Bright, exaggerated colors Simplistic figures and shapes Honest, ugly glimpse of his illness. Shows anxiety. Focused on personal meaning than on technical skills.
