Crystal Hefner details strict rules late husband Hugh had for girlfriends: 6 p.m. curfews, Playboy clothes, more

Crystal Hefner is getting candid about her late husband Hugh’s strict rules for her and his other girlfriends while they lived in the mansion.

Ahead of the release of her forthcoming memoir, “Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself,” the former Playboy Bunny revealed he used to place the women under strict curfews, force them to dye their hair, have certain manicure colors and more.

“Our nail polish couldn’t be anything but some neutral color, no French manicure,” Crystal told People of the Playboy founder’s toxic demands, adding that he would criticize her the second her brunette roots began to show.

“So I’d have to go bleach it and it would burn my scalp and I’d have blisters,” she said.

“But for some reason I thought this was all normal and that’s what it meant to be seen as beautiful in Hef’s eyes.”

Crystal, 37, also said despite the mansion being a luxurious estate, its near-constant parties left it in a state of decay.

“This place doesn’t really get cleaned that well and there’s mold, and it just felt just kind of run down and gross after a while. Too, too many parties. It was worn out,” noting that the animals on the property began to die.

“I feel like I was constantly crying for everything and everybody there,” she said. “All those animals were so depressed and sad-looking. It was all an illusion. I don’t even know if I was happy, to be honest.”

Crystal previously claimed Hugh took so much Viagra he went deaf and placed her under a 6:00 p.m. curfew when they married so she could eat dinner and watch movies together before participating in orgies.

The memoirist also admitted that she was never “in love” with the publishing tycoon and only decided to marry him after getting out of a toxic relationship with Dr. Phil’s son Jordan.

“I realized I was dealing with a really big power imbalance,” she told the magazine. “It seemed like a world of success and fantasy, but everyone’s having to sleep with an 80-year-old.

“There’s a price. Everything has a price.”

Crystal married Hugh in 2012 when she was 26 and he was 86. He died in September 2021 at 91 from cardiac arrest while battling E. coli and septicemia (blood poisoning).
