Gil .J. Wolman

Whilst in Barcelona last month I visited the Museu d’Art Contempori Barcelona (BACBA) and there was an exhibition of an artist called Gil J Wolman. Astounded is the word I choose to use to describe the experience. This is an artist who must have had around 130 of his works on show and I liked nearly every single one of them, something that has NEVER happened before. (Granted, there could be a few works I have like by the same artist, but nothing on this magnatude.)

There was something about his work that gave me a feeling of intrigue, something that made me think, wow, if only I could do something like this. He works with collage and text, the latter being something I have been thinking about exploring for a long time now.

As it stands though, I dont know how to explore some of the inspiration Wolman has provided me with, only time will tell hey? Here are a few images…
